The municipality of Snowmass Village is located in Pitkin County, Colorado. The total area occupied by the locality is nearly 25.6 square miles and its elevation is approximately 9100 feet. The whole city is surrounded by mountains and creeks and is the second largest ski mountain of the country. Snowmass Village is situated on the Brush Creek and at the foot of the Snowmass Ski area.
