Tourist Guide Snowmass Village
The municipality of Snowmass Village is located in Pitkin County, Colorado. The total area occupied by the locality is nearly 25.6 square miles and its elevation is approximately 9100 feet. The whole city is surrounded by mountains and creeks and is the second largest ski mountain of the country. Snowmass Village is situated on the Brush Creek and at the foot of the Snowmass Ski area. According to the census reports of 2000, the city has a population of 1822 people. The previous settlers of the town include English, Scottish, German, Italian, Irish and Italian. At present, the residents of Snowmass village are White, Pacific Islander, Asian, Native American and Hispanic or Latino races. The climate of the town is usually cool as it is placed at a higher elevation. The average temperature varies between 15 degree Fahrenheit and 55 degree Fahrenheit and the average snowfall is about 6 inches. Snowmass Village is a perfect tourist destination to enjoy the gorgeous climate along with the wonderful flora and fauna offered by the mountain.
