Betty Ford Alpine Gardens are located in the Rocky Mountains in the Colorado's Gorge Range. This is a botanical garden with a collection of high elevation plants. There are various educational and research programs offered by the garden's administration. The educational programs are inclusive of mountain hikes, and docent led tours. The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens include: Children’s Garden, Schoolhouse Garden, Alpine Tundra Garden, Mountain Perennial Garden, and Mountain Meditation Garden & Alpine Rock Garden.
