There are some good Golf Courses here. They are called Red Sky Golf Club – Norman Course, Vail Golf Club and Sonnenalp Golf Club.
Vail has some good hiking trails also, some of them being Fancy Pass Trail, Missouri Lake Trail and Booth Falls Trail.
There is a historic site which is also a beautiful mountain gateway and it is called Camp Hale. Cities that are close to Vail are Wolcott, Edwards and Avon. It is fun to visit the place Beaver Creek Ski area in the city of Avon.
Wolcott is naturally very beautiful. Beer lovers have a great event that is hosted here since the past eight years. This festival is called Annual Big Beers, Belgians & Barleywines Festival. This festival has some of the world’s most innovative Brewers participating in it.
Also some of the world’s best beer can be tasted here. Vail also has a good film festival called the Vail Film Festival. This festival has completed 3 years now.
