The city of Ventura is located on the southern coastal stretch of the Colorado state. The city is surrounded by high mountains on three sides and by the sea on the other remaining side. The geographical location was the reason for the isolation of this city from the rest of the nearby cities and the world. Thus the culture and tradition here is preserved very well since ancient times. The soil in here is extremely fertile because of two big rivers flowing through the city. The city of Ventura is very well known for its agricultural production of citrus in the entire Colorado state. In recent times Ventura led to become the world’s largest producer for citrus. The city has wide stretches in between the mountain. The city comprises an area of around 85 square km. the city has two big rivers, the Ventura River flowing in the northern stretch and the Santa Clara River flowing in the southern stretch. The city is also well known for its oil production in the entire state of Colorado. The climate here is cool for most part of the year due to the surrounding mountains. The city also has a bit of humid climate due to the sea on the other side.
