Tourist Guide Winter Park
The city of Winter Park is located in Grand County in Colorado, USA. It is a small city occupying an area of around 21 sq km and housing a population of close to 1,000 people. It was incorporated as a city on 1 August 1979.
The city enjoys an alpine climate and remains blanketed with snow for almost six months in a year. The maximum annual average temperature is around 9°C, and the minimum average annual temperature is approximately –4°C.
The scenic landscape of the city attracts tourists in thousands each year. The beautiful alpine vegetation covered with snow is a wonderful sight; Fraser Valley is a breathtakingly beautiful site. The Winter Park Resort is a renowned skiing area that draws visitors in great numbers from all over the world. Tourism is the backbone of the economy of this small but extremely beautiful city.
