Winter Park is known to be having a good Ski area. This place is called Winter Park Resort and it is said to be having skiing and snowboarding facilities for every skill level.
There are a few interesting places that are very unique. Argo Gold mine, Mill and Museum has ore and mineral samples and has a hand dug gold mine that was functional until the early 19th Century.
Other museums that are worth a visit in Winter Park are Hiwan Homestead Museum and The Gilpin History Museum. Cities that are close to Winter park are Maryvale, Fraser and Tabernash.
Some annual events here include 25th Annual Chef’s Cup, 33rd Annual Wells Fargo Cup and 25th Annual Alpina Stampade.
There are some fine chef’s participating in the annual Chefs Cup, and the visitors get a chance to choose the best dishes and the chefs win the people’s Choice award.
