Naugatuck River can be described as a 105-Km long river located in Connecticut. This natural source of water carves out Naugatuck River Valley. River goes on to flow from Connecticut’s north-western part towards the south; in to Housatonic River within Derby, Connecticut. Hydropower is amongst river’s main uses. Construction of Thomaston Dam was finished in the year 1960. It happens to create a reservoir over here. Also, floods get well-controlled.
