Tourist Guide Brookfield
Brookfield is a town situated in the county of Fairfield, in the state of Connecticut in United States. This town is a major part of the Newtown and Danbury area. It was named after Reverend Thomas Brooks. Brookfield comprises of people mainly from the Potatuck Indian tribe. The town shares space with the Still River. Brookfield is known for its quality mills. Industrialisation is always high here with a number of iron, hat, knife and also leather industries flourishing here. The town is measured to be 51.3 sq. kilometres vast with land covering most of it. This town is supplied water by their own management called as the Brookfield Water Company. The total number of people residing here is 15,664 according to a recent census. The climate here is soothing in the summers but the winters are very harsh and snowy.
