Located in the Hartford County, Canton is a countryside township in the district Connecticut of United States of America. The city got incorporated in the year 1806. In its border is the Granby situated on the north side while Simsbury on the eastside whereas Avon and Burlington on the south, New Hartford on the west side and finally Barkhamsted on the northwest side. The city comprises of North Canton, Canton Center, Canton and Collinsville.
The city has a population of around 8,840.
The city is on the banks of the Farmington River. It has an International Airport around 13 miles away in Windsor locks.
