Cheshire can be described as a town located in county of New Haven, Connecticut, US.

Cheshire had originally been settled in the year 1694 by none other than Europeans. At that time, it had been portion of Wallingford. Moreover, it was known as ‘Northfarms’ by locals. In the year 1780, this town got separated with regards to Wallingford; with the objective of becoming town of its own. Thereafter, it retained the status of a petite but prosperous place till 1950s.

The specialty of Cheshire lies in the fact that it, in spite of drastic residential development, hasn’t compromised on agricultural front. As such, the slogan of this town is ‘The Bedding Plant Capital of Connecticut’.
