The Connecticut River Museum located at Steamboat Dock was first open to public in 1975. This museum offers displays concerned with history of ‘water vessels’ along banks of Connecticut River. Shipbuilding, steamboats, the very-first submarine, etc. have been featured over here; apart from changing exhibits. As such, this museum falls in the category of ‘Nautical Museums’.
