Fairfield is a town situated in Fairfield County, Connecticut located along the Gold Coast of Connecticut.
Having neighborhoods like Southport and Greenfield Hill, Fairfield was ranked as the ninth best place to live in 2006 in US and the best place to live in the Northeast. The town is known as “dogwood capital of the world”, playing host each spring to a Dogwood festival. Sights worth visiting include the Connecticut Audubon Society Birdcraft Museum and Sanctuary, the David Ogden House, the Fairfield Railroad Stations and many more including Rugby Park and Southport harbor.
