The Antiquarian and Landmarks Society were built in 1936. This is also known as historic houses by local associations. The dues for membership were kept low to insure the association of a large and diversified membership. The founders of the Antiquarian and Landmark Society believed that there should be more to the objective than mere collection and preservation of material.
