Litchfield History Museum goes on to display American furniture, paintings, exhibits, and decorative arts; which would remind one of history of this region. This museum has bout seven galleries which bring out the lifestyle of half a century post the American Revolution. The museum has three exhibitions: Preserving Craftsmanship: Contemporary Litchfield County Furniture Makers, Litchfield: Colonial Revival Town and other exhibits
