Stamford is located in Fairfield County in Connecticut, USA. This city is a popular tourist destination with a number of attractions both natural and manmade. The city’s terrain comprises primarily of coastal regions with hills, rivers, lush vegetation and so forth. It has an area of around 135 sq km and is home to over 119,000 people. It was incorporated as a city in 1893. The original inhabitants of this region were the Native Americans.
