Tourist Guide Wethersfield
Wethersfield is a small city located in the Hartford County in Connecticut, USA. It has an area of around 34 sq km. Its initial occupants were people from the Wongunk tribe; Europeans began settling in this region in the early seventeenth century. Wethersfield was incorporated as a city in 1822 and is now home to over 26,000 inhabitants.
The economy of this historic city is dependent on agriculture, small manufacturing industries, educational institutions and the tourism industry. The landscape of this city is rich with long rivers, huge meadows, picturesque mountains, lush forests, placid lakes and similar other natural wonders, making it a much sought after tourist destination.
Summers in Wethersfield are warm, while winters are cool and freezing at times. The maximum average temperature during summer is around 28°C, while the minimum temperature in winters is approximately –7°C.
