Windham Textile and History Museum lies within an ancient ‘mill complex’ pertaining to Willimantic Linen Company. Library, store, and ‘store warehouse’ had been constructed in the year 1877. This museum goes on to depict history of textile industry within New England’s southern part at the time of Industrial Revolution. Interpretative programs examine leisure and work of various mill workers; along with ethnic background. Students, scholars, and school children are specially apprised about the museum.
