Camden is located in Kent County in Delaware of United States. This place comes under Dover in Delaware Metropolitan Statistical area.
The place came to its existence in the year 1780s and was first inhabited by Mifflin family by dividing lands into lots. Most of the land belonged to Brecknock and was granted to Alexander Humphreys in the year 1680. After this, village was established with some of the major facilities in the year 1790.
The place was the commercial centre and started sending most of the products to the market through the sea route by Port of Lebanon. Afterwards the railway was developed and this mode of transport was also used to carry on business. This community was first incorporated in the year 1852 and later on 1969. To take glance of the past one can visit the museums and historical sites that provide a wide knowledge about this place.
