Tourist Guide Dewey Beach
The Delaware State in the United States consists of the Sussex County wherein Dewey Beach is an incorporated coastal town. This town is a section of the Seaford, Delaware Micropolitan Statistical Area. This town is located on a tiny strip of land between the Rehoboth Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The length of this town is almost one mile and the width is of two blocks. Despite such a small size, it is quite usual that during summer weekends about thirty thousand visitors come to this place. On the main street of this town, which is Coastal Highway (Delaware Route 1), there are a large number of rock clubs and bars. Ruddertowne, which is close to Coastal Highway, has even more clubs and bars.
As per the 2000 census, the population of Dewey Beach is 301.
The warmest month is July with a temperature range of 68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit. The coolest month is January with temperature varying from 28 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. The annual precipitation is 46 inches.
