The city of Rehoboth Beach is located in Sussex County in the state of Delaware, USA. It has an area of around 4 sq km and is home to around 1,500 people, which swells to 75,000 during the summers. It takes around two hours to reach the city from Washington, Baltimore or Philadelphia.
The Native Americans were the first to settle in this beautiful region, with the Europeans discovering and settling here only in the late-seventeenth century. Its landscape comprises coasts, beaches and open fields.
Rehoboth Beach has been blessed with a fabulous climate. The maximum average annual summer temperature is approximately 19°C, while the minimum average temperature is somewhere around 9°C. On average, July is the warmest month and January, the coolest.
Numerous small businesses by self-employed people and the tourism industry form the base of this city’s economy.
