Wyoming can be described as a small town located in county of Kent, Delaware, US.

The name ‘Wyoming’ has been derived from ‘Wyoming Valley’ located in Pennsylvania. It’s, in fact, a portion of Dover, Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As per US Census Bureau, area of Wyoming on the whole comes out to be 1.8 sq. Km; out of which 2.9%25 consists of water.

According to census conducted in the year 2000, population of Wyoming had been 1141; with its density being 647.9 per sq. Km. Median income with respect to a household was calculated to be $48452; whereas that with regards to a family was found to be $54265. Per capita income for town was calculated to be $21254. Wyoming Peach Festival takes place in the month of August every year. It happens to offer home-made peach ice-cream, tours to ‘Fifer Orchards’, and pageants.
