The District of Columbia in the United States has peak seasons coinciding two activities, the Congress sessions and springtime, which starts with the cherries blooming along the Potomac. What’s more, this is also the popular season for protesting marches.

For those, who want to avoid the crowds, end of August or early September is the good time or between Thanksgiving and mid January. This time, the prices of the hotels are cheap, with some of the hotels providing attractive packages.

If one is thinking of visiting District of Columbia in July and August, he should be well aware of the hot and humid weather. Irrespective of this heat, the Independence Day is an impressive celebration.
