Edmond is a city in Oklahoma County in the state of Oklahoma, USA. It has an area of around 228 sq km and is home to approximately 77,000 people. This city was initially named ‘Summit’ because it was the highest point on the Santa Fe Trail.
Edmond has a diverse topography that makes it a place worth visiting. It covers plains, meadows, lakes and so forth. Arcadia Lake is the most important tourist attraction in the city and is a must-visit. There are also a number of other attractions, recreational areas and places of historical significance.
