Everett is the seat of Snohomish County in Washington, USA. Located on the Snohomish River in Possession Sound, the city covers an area of 123.4 sq km and has a population of around 101,000.
Once a mill town involved in wood-based industries, Everett, today, is a centre for technology and the aerospace industry. It houses the main plant of Boeing, the world’s leading aerospace company.

Summer and winter sports abound at nearby lakes and rivers. Jetty Island, located along the waterfront, features long sandy beaches.
