Tampa Bay can be described as a huge ‘estuary’ as well as ‘natural harbor’ located along ‘Gulf of Mexico’ on ‘west central coast’ pertaining to Florida. It includes New Tampa Bay, McKay Bay, Hillsborough Bay, and Old Tampa Bay. This bay is being looked upon as brackish estuary; that too, with broad mouth linking it with Gulf of Mexico for around 6000 years.
