Tideviews Preserve
Tideviews Preserve comprises of 8 acres of passive parkland. There is a fishing area, canoe launch, 2500 feet of boardwalk and trail and public parking. From this park, one can have an excellent view of the Intracoastal Waterway. This park is situated close to the end of West 1st Street and Begonia Street.
Veteran’s Memorial Park
Veteran’s Memorial Park is made up of a basketball court, benches, swings and a small playground area.
Rose Park
Rose Park is situated near the end of West Plaza and Orchid Street. This active part comprises of a soccer field, benches, swings and a small playground area.
Donner Park and Community Center
Donner Park is spread over 5 acres of park land where one can find a Community Center, a large sand playground area, a softball field and a full basketball court. Here one can view pecan and oak trees. Several community activities of the city like flag football, fall festival, outdoor summer movies are carried out here. During weekdays, the outdoor bathrooms are open. In the Donner Park Community Center there is a full kitchen that can be rented to the public as well as a huge community room.
