Tourist Guide Bonita Springs
Bonita Springs is a city situated in Lee County in Florida in USA and is a part of the Cape Coral Fort Myers Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city covers a total area of 41 square miles out of which 35.3 sq miles is covered by land and the rest by water. The city lies on both the Gulf of Mexico and the Estero Bay. As per the population census of 2007 the city had a population of 42,268 inhabitants, most of who are Whites. The population density is 358.8 km² and the median age is 54 years. The Imperial River flows from the city and enters the Estero Bay. The city has a subtropical climate where the winters are relatively warm but not as hot as in the summer. The Southwest Florida International Airport is situated in South Fort Myers and serves more than eight million passengers per year.
