Bradenton can be referred to as a city located in ‘Manatee County, Florida, US’. This place is the biggest Principal City pertaining to Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. Moreover, it is Manatee County’s county seat. Bradenton has been pronounced as ‘BRAY-din-tin’ so far.
As per US Census Bureau, the area of Bradenton on the whole is 37.4 sq. Km; out of which 16.14% consists of water. This place has been situated on ‘US 41’, between Sarasota and Tampa. The region is bounded by waterways- both, saltwater and freshwater.
In to Tampa Bay and around Mexico, there seem to be around twenty miles of ‘Florida Beaches’. Most of them have been shaded by ‘Australian pines’. Having bordered on northern side by Manatee River, this place is situated on mainland. Besides, it’s separated from outer islands (like Anna Maria Island which act as a barrier) as well as ‘Longboat Key’ by Intracoastal Waterway.
The population as per 2006 census was 53986.
