Braden River can be described as a 34-Km waterway which happens to drain a watershed of 210 sq. Km in Florida’s west-central part. Also, it’s Manatee River’s biggest tributary. In the year 1936, hydrology of Braden River got altered. It was when Bradenton city created Ward Lake; i.e. a reservoir with 9.7 Km upstream from mouth. In the year 1985, this reservoir underwent expansion; thereby supplying around 5.7 gallons every year.
