This is a botanical garden which covers a total area of ten acres and displays a wide collection of fruits, rare palms, 3 lakes, flowering trees, gazebo, playground, butterfly garden, playground and pavilion. The park was started in 1990 by a group who tried to save the Manatee County palm nursery by changing it into a botanical park. The park is now run by a joint venture between the non profit PSB Park Foundation and the Manatee County parks department.
