The city has 3 parks namely Herb Dolan Park, Lou Barola Park and Katie Peirola Sunset Park. The Herb Dolan Park has an open area and provides views of the Tampa Bay, Anna Maria Sound and Sarasota Bay. It also has children’s playground and basketball courts. It is situated at 26th Street north of avenue A. The Lou Barolo Park lies on Highland Ave at 4th street north and has a children’s playground. The Katie Peirola Sunset Park lies right on the beach at Gulf Drive and is great for picnics. There are Tiki huts with picnic tables and one can get wonderful views of the beach from here at sunset.
