Tourist Guide Brandon

Brandon is an unincorporated census-designated place situated in Hillsborough County in Florida. Its first settler is believed to be John Brandon in 1857, after whom the CDP was named.

As per the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 77,895 people. And as per the American Fact Sheet, it had a population estimation of 90,470 people in 2007.

As per the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 29.3 square miles, out of which, 28.7 square miles is land and 0.6 square miles is water.

Brandon lies in the humid subtropical climate zone. The summers are hot and humid with temperature reaching to almost 90 degree from the month of June to September with high chances of thunderstorms. Further, spring and fall are pleasant with 70 – 80 degrees. Winters, on the other hand, are mild with average temperature of 60 degrees.  The wettest month of the year is August with 7.7 inches of rainfall.
