Cape Canaveral, a city, in Brevard County, in Florida is a headland. From 1963 to 1973, it was known as Cape Kennedy.

This is the site of the Cape Canaveral Air force Station, and is well known as the Space Coast. The place has received international recognition as many of the United States Aircrafts.

The city is located on the northern end of a barrier island on the Atlantic coast of Florida.

Merritt Island is a very famous feature; it has a wide array of hiking and nature opportunities. It is adjacent to the Kennedy Space centre.  

The weather of Cape Canaveral is humid, but there are at times tropical storms and hurricanes, the rains are the most popular.
