The Ponce de Leon Inlet Light museum is also a preservation association and a nonprofit organization which is totally dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the maritime and social history of the Ponce de Leon Inlet Light station. This museum has a major display of Ponce Inlet lighthouse history and photos. The lighthouse was completed in 1887 and is considered as the most preserved and complete lighthouse in the nation.
