CCAFS, i.e. Cape Canareval Air Force Station can be described as one of the installations of ‘Air Force Space Command’s 45th Space Wing’; which has its HQ at Patrick Air Force Base. This Air Force Station has separate airfield; i.e. Cape Canareval AFS Skid Strip that makes ways for 1000-ft. runway; nearer to launch complexes. It helps in delivery of outsized and heavy satellite payloads to Cape.
