The city of Cape Coral is located in Lee County in the Florida region. The population of the city is 623,725 (0.6 million). Cape Coral is the largest city in Southwest region of Florida.
More than 400 miles of navigable waterways, this city has maximum number of canals compared to any city present on this earth. The city is surrounded by rivers to the south and east by the Caloosahatchee River and to the west by Matlacha Pass.
The climate is the best feature of Cape Coral as the area has 335 days of sunshine annually with warm, moist and rainy summers; winters are really pleasant. Most of the rainfall is between May to September. Annual hurricane season affects the city starting from June 1 and continuing till November.
Beaches are important tourist’s attractions and have many recreational activities like sea kayaking, water sports and also enjoy lovely sunsets at the beaches.
