The Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve is home to many species like myrtle oak, sand live oak and Chapman’s oak too. At the park, one can also get to enjoy rental canoes and kayaking. This reserve has salt marshes which give way to a succession of hardwood forests, swamps, scrub and also pine flat woods. It offers impressive opportunities for nature study and for observation of wildlife.
