Tourist Guide Clearwater

Located on the Pinellas Peninsula, between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay, the city of Clearwater is the county seat of Pinellas County in Florida, USA. It is spread over a total area of 97.7 sq km.

Summers, in Clearwater, are generally wet and humid while the winters are dry. The average temperature in summer is around 30°C while the average winter temperature is around 20°C. Sunshine is received abundantly throughout the year.

Originally the home of the Tocobagan Indian tribe, the area now has a population of around 110,000. The town grew after the end of the Seminole war. Formerly known as Clear Water Harbor, it was incorporated as a city in 1915.

Clearwater is blessed with a mild climate, beautiful sandy beaches and breathtaking sunsets.
