Tourist Guide Clermont:

Clermont City was founded in 1884 and was incorporated in 1916. It forms a part of the South Lake County. It stands about 22 miles west of the city of Orlando. The Florida Highway 50 connects both the cities of Clermont and Orlando.

The current population of Clermont is 23,476. It is the largest city in the county. The racial mix consists of 83.50%25 Whites, 12.08%25 African American and a few percentages of Asian and other races. The city is residential in nature. It experiences a fast economic growth.

Retail stores like Target, Kohl’s and Wal-Mart have opened their markets in Clermont. Its economy is mainly concentrated in retail trade, food and beverage establishments and lodging provisions.The luscious and beautiful parks and neighborhood are filled with natural wonders, and the spectacular downtown commercial center makes Clermont city a great place to visit at any time of the year.

Clermont experiences peak summer during the months of July and August with temperatures ranging around 90 F. Holy land Experience, Citrus Tower Tree and Presidents Hall of Fame are notable tourist attractions of Clermont City.

needs more residents. lower prices. get rid of miner mentality. scrap hi vis clothing because it spells miner for stores to charge out landlish prices. scrap 12 hour shifts for 8hour days again. for social entertainment to cater for sport and family time and it would be a great town to live in again.
