Cocoa Beach is a lively city-resort located in Brevard County in eastern Florida, USA. Barely 9 km long, the city lies on a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and the Banana River Lagoon.
The Melbourne International Airport is 45 minutes south of Cocoa Beach, while the smaller Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority is located around 45 minutes north in the same County.
The coastal weather in Cocoa Beach is perfect for all year round visits. Temperatures can rise to around 32°C in the summer months of July and August; during the remainder of the year, the temperature usually stays at around 25°C.
The population of the city is estimated to be nearly 13,000. The number of tourists in the peak season doubles this figure, and many visitors even end up relocating.
