This is the busiest place of the city Coral Gables. It is a section of the coral way between Douglas Road and Lejeune Road. It connects the east to west of the city through the downtown region, the section is the home to many shopping malls and luxury restaurants.
The miracle mile was designed by George Merrick. It was earlier served by free trolley running through the main artery of the business district. It was replaced by modern automobiles and new free trolley is in service since 2003. Due to this the city is called as a pedestrian friendly destination.
