Coral Springs is a city in Broward County of Florida in the United States.
The city was incorporated in July 1963 and was planned by Coral Ridge Properties, which is now known as WCI Communities. As a result, the city was given the name, Coral Springs.
However, there is not a single spring to be found in this city. The city has grown in size and in economic terms since its incorporation. According to the 2006 census, the city is populated with 129,805 residents. The city is famous for having good living standards, a low crime rate and a friendly atmosphere.
Coral Springs is surrounded by several locations like Parkland, Margate, North Lauderdale, and the Everglades. The city experiences high rainfall between April and September. February and January are the driest months of the year. Hurricanes generally appear during June to November.
