The Pioneer Florida Museum was opened in 1961 when a San Antonio citizen offered a gift of old farm equipment to the Pasco County Fair Association, including 37 vehicles and tools which formed the basis for forming the Pioneer Florida Museum Association. The museum is built in a 50' X100' steel building, featuring a wide rustic front porch and an addition medical room, an Overstreet House, a one-room school house, a church from Enterprise, the Trilby depot, and a train engine.
