Davie had been founded by a constellation of settlers which was composed of workers pertaining to Panama Canal Zone.
This city was named after Randolph P. Davie, a developer who had bought around 27000 acres of this region.
Davie has been known as a ‘Western’ town since ages. It can boast of large number of ‘horse-owning’ population. Once upon a time, it had been home to several cattle as well.
As per US Census Bureau, area of Davie, on the whole, comes out to be 88 sq. Km; out of which 2.17% consists of water. Rainfall received by Davie, on an average, comes out to be 55 inches.
