The Tiger Bay State Forest is situated in Florida. This is a 27,330 acre of forest in Volusia County, in between DeLand and Daytona Beach. This forest has large areas of swamp with embedded pine islands along with a large pine ridge area. Moreover, it was purchased in 1977 under the Environmentally Endangered Lands Program with some additional acquisitions made in the years, 1994 and 1998.
