The Delray Beach Public Library was founded by the Ladies Improvement Association in 1913 and major funding for library operations is provided by the City of Delray Beach. The facility is a 46,826 Square feet area with over 250,000 books. Other facilities include, free parking space, coffee bar, meeting rooms and study rooms. The library’s mission is to encourage the love of reading among the local community.
