The downtown area of Delray Beach is famous for its retail, cultural and residential activities and is home to many popular restaurants, retailers, nightclubs and art galleries. Also houses the new Downtown Delray Gallery District along Atlantic Avenue, featuring few of the best galleries in South Florida. It also hosts many events like the Delray Affair, which is a 3 day long art and street fair, and the Artists’ Guild Artwalk, held six times a year. The Downtown Delray Beach is also dubbed as the ‘Village by the Sea’, and is expanding quickly as far west as the Atlantic Ocean towards the east.
