The Destin Airport is situated at the south end of Okaloosa County. This is a community airport which serves the general aviation to its commuters. Moreover, this is a 5,000 foot runway offering full service amenities and is also an essential transportation resource. In 2007, a new passenger terminal was completed and this offers comfortable first class facilities for the travelers and the pilot.
