Eustis can be described as a city located in county of Lake, Florida, US. It’s, in fact, a portion of Orlando-Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As per US Census Bureau, area of Eustis, on the whole, comes out to be 25 sq. Km; out of which 13.28%25 consists of water. City limits have been defined by Abrams, Eudora, and ‘CR 44’ on the eastern side, US Highway on the southern side, Florida Hospital Waterman and Lake Eustis on the western side, and CR44 on the northern side.
This city receives rainfall of around 48 inches every year. Snowfall, as such, does not occur. In the month of July, temperature is maximum; i.e. around 93 degree F; whereas in January, it’s around 50 degree F (the lowest).
Eustis was inspired from General Abraham Eustis. It was initially named ‘Highlands’, followed by, ‘Pendryville’.
According to census conducted in the year 2000, population of Eustis was 15106; with its density being 698.5 per sq. Km.
