The Water Taxi service in Ft Lauderdale calls between Oakland Park Boulevard and Southeast 17th Street along the Intracoastal waterway, and west along the New River into downtown Fort Lauderdale up to Las Olas Riverfront. The passenger commuter capacities are regulated by the US Coast Guard and boarding is done on first come-first serve basis, with ticket holders boarding first. Satisfied commuters can leave tips as the crew members are permitted to accept gratuities.
